Curtis is a father, husband, brother, friend, USMC Veteran and an advocate for mental health awareness. His experience is not only personal but also professional as he has a degree in psychology. In his free time he enjoys spending time with the people he loves. Starting with his wife (Jen) and three kids (Mya, Mercy and Meade). 

Corey is a father, boyfriend, brother, friend, USMC Veteran and small business owner. He owns a barbershop in the suburbs of St. Paul, MN. He has a degree in business management but started his college career at Brown University. At Brown his focus was radio broadcasting. 

Slim is a nickname that was given to Corey by friend that has since passed away. Corey decided to use the nickname to keep his friend’s memory alive. Curtis was nicknamed Superman by Corey early on in their friendship. Mainly because of his knack to overcome obstacles in life. 

Their friendship started in 2001 while Corey was serving in the Marine Corps. Corey was visiting a retail chain and Curtis happened to be the General Manager. By the end of their first conversation Curtis had offered Corey a job. And like they say, the rest is history.
